A lot more to come on this saint who was known as "the woman who prays a lot". She served in Louisiana, Kansas and Missouri.

Fr. Felix was born December 13, 1778 in Piedmont, Italy. He died in St. Louis, MO on October 15, 1820.
Fr. Felix preached at missions and retreats extensively as a priest in Italy. He felt called to English missions, so he learned English.
In 1815, Fr. Dubourg of the Diocese of Louisiana traveled to Europe to recruit priests for his mission diocese. Pope Pius VII appointed Fr. Felix. One June 12, 1816 he arrived in Baltimore, MD at St. Mary's Seminary, where he stayed with Fr. Brute. He then stayed with Bishop Flaget in Bardstown, KY.
Fr. Felix arrived in St. Louis in 181. He was given land for a seminary at "The Barrens", in Perry County, 80 miles south of St. Louis. He was named master of novices.
His cause for canonization was opened in 1900 by the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Read more here.

Teresia was born on November 13, 1897 in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands She entered the Carmelite convent in Tilburg on October 2, 1917, professing vows on July 2, 1919. In December of 1919 she travelled to America with seven other Sisters, arriving in St. Charles, MO. She became very sick with a severe kidney disease soon after she arrived. She suffered for five years, dying on March 10, 1926 at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Her cause for canonization was opened 2010 in the diocese of Roermond, Netherlands. . More to come. Read more here for now.
