She was born in Venezuela and died of Parkinson's in NJ. She is the mother of 7. She saw Our Lady at the visions in Betania, Venzuela. She was friends with St. Pio.
Bl. Demjanovich was a member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth. She died in 1927. She was declared Venerable in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI. She was beatified in 2014. The miracle attributed to her was the restoration of sight to a child with juvenile macular degenration. Read more about her here.
Marinus LaRue was a Merchant Marie Captain. He saved hundreds of Korean War refugees in 1950. In 1954 he became a Benedictine Brother. He died in October 2021. The Diocese of Paterson, NJ opened his cause for canonization. Read more here.
